About the Role
The Marketing Analyst, PLG & Self-Serve Analytics at Twilio will be part of a highly visible Marketing Analytics team. This role serves as the dedicated analytics partner for Twilio's self-serve and PLG motion, focusing on translating business goals into scalable technical programs. The successful candidate will be the connective tissue between GTM engineers and business teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective program execution.As a key member of the Marketing Analytics team, you will work closely with various stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Finance. Your primary objective will be to drive growth, optimize sales programs, and inform business decisions through data-driven insights. The role requires a unique blend of technical, analytical, and communication skills to thrive in Twilio's dynamic and remote-first environment.
What You Will Do
- Lead PLG analytics for Twilio's self-service business, including free-to-paid conversion, usage-based cohorting, and growth experimentation across the self-serve funnel.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions using Python and SQL, and collaborate with Marketing Data Engineering to take tests from pilot to production.
- Build relationships with sales and marketing leaders to translate hypotheses into actionable experiments and identify high-leverage use cases.
- Drive iteration by building tight feedback loops with sales teams to validate play effectiveness and evolve dashboards, cohort models, and experimentation frameworks.
- Synthesize complex insights into clear, concise communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, focusing on key takeaways for executives.
- Develop and maintain analytical toolkits, such as scoring models, segmentation frameworks, and dashboards, to help Sales and Marketing teams act on insights at scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics and PLG to continually improve the team's capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
