About the Role
The Marketing Automation Manager - Marketo plays a pivotal role in the success of Impact's global marketing initiatives. As the technical execution arm of Marketo programs, this position involves designing, executing, and optimizing global campaigns that drive measurable results. The role requires close collaboration with the Marketing team to ensure seamless operations across the marketing technology stack. Given the critical nature of this position, the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Marketo and its integration with other tools in the marketing technology stack, including Salesforce. The Marketing Automation Manager will report to the Director of Marketing Operations & Analysis, ensuring that all marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).What You Will Do
- Collaborate with Demand Gen, Programs, Events, and global marketing managers to build and optimize all campaigns running through Marketo.
- Test, optimize, and standardize email, programs, forms, landing pages, and templates to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Upload and maintain lead lists, overseeing data hygiene within the Marketo instance to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage email consent best practices, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Design and execute campaigns across multiple channels, including email, paid search, paid social, webinars/events, and account-based marketing (ABM).
- Oversee the integration of new business units, identifying opportunities for optimization and ensuring seamless operations.
- Analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation of Marketo processes and best practices.
- Support marketing initiatives across regions (EMEA, APAC, US) and business units, ensuring global alignment and consistency.
- Participate in the training and supervision of Marketo users, including email marketers, to enhance team capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience using Marketo, with a proven track record of designing and executing successful campaigns.
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce, demonstrating an understanding of CRM integration with marketing automation tools.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Functional experience in HTML and CSS, enabling the creation and customization of marketing materials.
- Experience with various martech platforms and tools, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Adept at reporting tools; Excel, SFDC, Looker Studio, or equivalent, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing campaign performance and improving operational efficiency.
