About the Role

The Marketing Chief of Staff at Cohere is a critical role that will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the marketing organization. This includes managing the planning calendar, budget, headcount plan, and weekly business reviews. The successful candidate will be a seasoned marketing professional with a deep understanding of digital marketing operations and a proven track record of driving results-oriented campaigns.

As a key member of the marketing leadership team, the Marketing Chief of Staff will work closely with the VP of Brand and other stakeholders to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive business growth. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including brand, editorial, design, product marketing, demand generation, and integrated marketing.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute marketing operations plans that drive business growth and engagement
  • Manage the planning calendar, budget, headcount plan, and weekly business reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand, editorial, design, product marketing, demand generation, and integrated marketing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the VP of Brand and other marketing leaders
  • Analyze marketing data and metrics to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaigns
  • Manage and optimize marketing workflows and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop and implement marketing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to develop and execute account-based marketing strategies
  • Manage and optimize marketing technology stack, including marketing automation and CRM systems
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports to track key metrics and performance

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving results-oriented campaigns and marketing strategies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic marketing environment
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing operations and marketing technology
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and metrics to inform marketing strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer success
