About the Role
The Marketing Engineer, AI Deployment, plays a crucial role in Figma's marketing team, focusing on designing and building programmatic go-to-market systems and AI-powered workflows. This position sits at the intersection of operations, data, and marketing, with a primary goal of turning strategy and manual work into scalable, automated systems. By leveraging AI and programmatic marketing, the successful candidate will improve efficiency, impact, and execution across the marketing department.As a Marketing Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying high-impact AI use cases across marketing and taking them from prototype to full deployment. This involves coaching and partnering with marketers to transform their workflows and achieve self-sufficiency. Your work will have a direct impact on Figma's revenue and operational efficiency, making this a high-visibility role within the company.

What You Will Do
- Identify and define high-impact AI use cases across marketing, taking them from prototype to full deployment
- Coach and partner with marketers to take them from novice to full workflow transformation and self-sufficiency
- Build custom tools, agents, automations, and integrations tailored to each operator's responsibilities
- Own and evolve a GitHub-managed marketing AI cortex of prompts, skills, context files, and agents
- Recognize patterns across your cohort and systematically productize what works
- Measure what works, define evaluation criteria, instrument AI workflows, and track adoption
- Document every workflow, tool, playbook, and transformation pattern for knowledge scalability
- Stay ahead of AI trends in Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems, sharing wins with your cohort and leadership
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated track record as an AI builder, with a focus on agents, LLM workflows, automations, or prompt systems
- Deep, hands-on expertise in agent orchestration platforms, such as Gumloop, n8n, Workato, or Zapier
- Experience building and maintaining shared prompt libraries, skill catalogs, or AI-readable knowledge bases
- Strong understanding of marketing operations and the ability to drive revenue and operational efficiency
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- A bias toward measurement and data-driven decision-making
- Experience with version control systems, such as GitHub, and proper documentation practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with programmatic marketing tools and platforms
- Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning concepts
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps practices
