About the Role

The Marketing Manager, Events position at Baker Tilly is a temporary opportunity for a skilled marketing professional to develop and implement strategic marketing plans for industry and service practice teams. What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for assigned teams, aligning with the overall firm-wide marketing plan and respective industry, service line, or local office business plans
  • Manage and implement a wide range of marketing activities, including digital initiatives, webinars, social media, events, and sponsorships
  • Collaborate with team members to align objectives and strategies with the firm's overall goals and vision
  • Define and develop marketing, communication, and brand-building strategies and tactics to execute plans
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for industry and service practice teams
  • Plan and execute events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements to support marketing strategies
  • Analyze results and provide insights to inform future marketing strategies
  • Work closely with Marketing Strategy colleagues to determine effective sales collateral, website content, and practice-specific content
  • Manage and maintain databases, including Salesforce, to track marketing activities and results
  • Develop and manage budgets for marketing activities and events

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on events and digital marketing
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, including market research, campaign development, and results analysis
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations
  • Experience with budget management and financial planning
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, including social media and email marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and search engine marketing
  • Experience with event planning and management
  • Certification in marketing or a related field, such as Google Analytics or HubSpot
