Job Description

About the Role

As a Marketing Manager, Keynote & Mainstage Narrative at Openai, you will play a crucial role in shaping the content behind the company's most important CXO-facing field moments. This involves developing keynote storylines, mainstage narratives, executive talk tracks, and reusable content systems that help senior audiences understand the value of AI in practice. Your work will sit at the intersection of executive storytelling, keynote development, mainstage content, field execution, design, production, and GTM strategy.

The Enterprise Marketing team at Openai is dedicated to helping the world's largest organizations understand, adopt, and scale AI responsibly. As part of this team, you will partner closely with various stakeholders, including Sales, Product Marketing, Solutions, Customer Success, Events, Design, Production, and executive leadership. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating Openai's technology into clear, credible stories for enterprise audiences.

The Content & Narrative team, where this role is situated, focuses on building the messaging behind Openai's most critical field moments. Your role will involve creating content systems that can scale beyond a single moment, ensuring that the strongest content travels beyond the live moment through post-event amplification, seller-ready messaging, and enablement materials.

What You Will Do

  • Develop keynote and mainstage narratives for CXO-facing field moments, including leadership remarks, strategic sessions, customer-facing programs, and major enterprise initiatives.
  • Partner with production, design, GTM, product marketing, and field teams to create strong top-line messaging.
  • Build narrative systems that can scale beyond a single moment, including keynote arcs, talk tracks, field-ready messaging, modular storylines, post-event content, and reusable enablement assets.
  • Help clarify messaging for upcoming enterprise programs and launches.
  • Ensure major enterprise moments have a clear audience, message hierarchy, proof points, and follow-through.
  • Translate keynote and mainstage content into usable materials for field, enablement, and GTM partners.
  • Partner closely with presentation design and production to ensure the story survives execution.
  • Identify which content should become reusable across field activations, customer follow-up, seller enablement, internal enablement, and future mainstage moments.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience developing keynote content, mainstage narratives, executive remarks, strategic messaging, campaign narratives, or enterprise-facing content.
  • Strong track record of turning ambiguous business priorities into clear audience-specific stories.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with production, design, product marketing, sales, GTM, or senior leaders.
  • Ability to write, edit, and structure content for senior audiences.
  • Experience translating keynote, mainstage, or top-line narrative work into reusable assets, talk tracks, decks, post-event content, or field-facing enablement.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving environments where priorities and inputs change.
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to simplify, cut, sequence, and pressure-test a story.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI or related technologies.
  • Knowledge of GTM strategies and their application in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in marketing or a related field.

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Opportunity to work with a pioneering AI research and deployment company.
  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Professional development opportunities.
  • Remote work options with a hybrid model of 3 days in the office per week.
  • Relocation assistance for new employees.

How to Stand Out

  • Develop a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating keynote content, mainstage narratives, and executive talk tracks.
  • Highlight your experience with GTM strategies and how you've applied them in previous roles.
  • Practice your storytelling skills, focusing on how to turn complex business priorities into clear, audience-specific stories.
  • Prepare to discuss your ability to work cross-functionally and partner with various stakeholders.
  • Research Openai's mission and values to understand how your skills and experience align with the company's goals.
  • Be ready to provide specific examples of how you've handled fast-moving environments and changing priorities in your previous roles.
