About the Role
The Marketing Manager, Social Media Content Creation, will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media campaigns that amplify the Television Academy and Television Academy Foundation's digital presence. This role involves partnering with senior marketing leadership to ensure the creation and production of compelling visual content across various platforms. A key aspect of this position is supporting For Your Consideration (FYC) initiatives, which includes reviewing collateral for quality control and capturing content at high-profile industry events.The successful candidate will be an integral part of the marketing team, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and build the brand's online presence. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with the Television Academy's marketing goals
- Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms, including but not limited to videos, graphics, and written posts
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and produce social media campaigns that support FYC initiatives
- Manage and maintain the Television Academy's social media presence across all platforms, ensuring consistency and cohesion
- Conduct regular analytics reports to assess the performance of social media campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance the Television Academy's social media strategy
- Work closely with the events team to capture and create content at industry events
- Develop and manage social media budgets, ensuring effective use of resources
- Foster and maintain relationships with social media influencers and industry partners
- Ensure all social media content meets the highest standards of quality, adhering to the Television Academy's brand guidelines
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in social media marketing or a related field, with a proven track record of successful social media campaigns
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Excellent content creation skills, with the ability to write, design, and produce high-quality content
- Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Experience working with remote teams or in a remote capacity
Nice to Have
- Experience in the entertainment industry or a related field
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Video production skills, including filming and editing
