What You Will Do
- Partner with sales teams and advertisers to design and implement measurement strategies that align with their business objectives.
- Develop and apply rigorous methodologies for advertising measurement, including experimentation, attribution modeling, and econometric analysis.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate measurement capabilities into OpenAI's Ads platform, ensuring seamless data flow and analysis.
- Design and execute incrementality testing and lift studies to measure the impact of advertising campaigns.
- Work with data science and engineering teams to develop scalable solutions for data analysis and reporting.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including sales teams, advertisers, and internal leadership.
- Develop training and support materials to help sales teams and advertisers understand and effectively use measurement tools and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging methodologies in advertising measurement, applying this knowledge to enhance OpenAI's capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of OpenAI's marketing science strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company's overall mission and objectives.
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in advertising measurement, with a deep understanding of methodologies including attribution, incrementality, and marketing mix modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex data systems.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R, and familiarity with AI-enabled analytical workflows.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including the role of various stakeholders and platforms.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, engineering, and data science.
- Familiarity with third-party measurement providers and experience with partner onboarding, APIs, or data integrations.
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as economics, statistics, or computer science; advanced degrees are preferred.
