About the Role
The Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting all North America marketing activities for the Pharma sector at SGS. This is a highly execution-focused position that requires seamless coordination across various marketing channels, including tradeshows, webinars, and campaign activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple timelines in a fast-paced environment.A typical week in this role may involve coordinating upcoming tradeshow logistics, confirming vendor orders, aligning with sales teams, supporting webinar setup, and tracking post-event performance. The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team is crucial, as the Marketing Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to meet deadlines and achieve marketing goals.
The Pharma sector is a rapidly evolving field, with ongoing advancements in medical research, technology, and regulatory frameworks. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support business objectives
- Create digital content for websites, email, and social media platforms
- Support internal communications and content updates
- Coordinate tradeshows and conferences, including logistics, vendor management, and promotions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and achieve marketing goals
- Support webinar development and execution, including content creation, speaker management, and technical setup
- Manage industry partnerships and publications, including relationship-building and content submissions
- Input and manage leads in CRM systems, tracking engagement and conversion metrics
- Rack KPIs and report ROI on marketing campaigns, providing insights for future strategy development
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative marketing ideas and solutions
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Pharma sector
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant marketing position, with a focus on digital marketing and campaign management
- Proven experience in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and content marketing
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as Canva and Eloqua
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems, including lead management and data analysis
- Project Management experience, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and timelines
- Understanding of the Pharma industry, including regulatory frameworks, market trends, and competitor activity
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience, with knowledge of keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- Graphic design experience, with proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
Nice to Have
- Experience using Sitecore or other content management systems
- Certification in marketing, such as HubSpot or Google Analytics
- Experience with marketing automation tools, such as Marketo or Pardot
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to create custom email templates and landing pages
