About the Role
The Marketing Student role at SolarEdge is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in smart energy technology. As a member of the EU Marketing team, you will support the implementation of marketing activities and events to sustain SolarEdge's marketing strategy. Your primary focus will be on the DACH region, working closely with the Director of Marcom Europe and Country Managers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The role requires a deep understanding of the markets and customers, including distributors, installers, and prosumers, to communicate effectively and drive marketing efforts.SolarEdge is committed to making clean, green energy the primary power source for homes, businesses, and beyond. The company's innovative solutions include solar inverters, battery storage, backup systems, EV charging, and AI-based energy management. What You Will Do
- Support the implementation of marketing activities and events to sustain SolarEdge's marketing strategy
- Communicate effectively with distributors, installers, and prosumers in the DACH region
- Learn about SolarEdge products and services to accomplish set marketing activities efficiently and accurately
- Make it easier for prosumers in DACH to access SolarEdge's smart energy solutions
- Manage the collaterals supply chain, including printed materials and giveaways
- Order marketing products for events or customer showrooms
- Review and translate marketing materials from English into German
- Help deliver relevant local digital content on the web and social media platforms
- Support local marketing managers in organizing and running local exhibitions, trade fairs, events, training courses, and road shows
- Assist in managing channel partners with local exhibitions and events
What We Are Looking For
- Native German language skills
- Fluency in English
- Experience handling MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong team player with clear communication skills
- Affinity to technological products desirable
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) desirable
- Meticulous planning, prioritizing, and organization skills
- Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and retain cross-group collaborations
- Solid analytical skills with consistent attention to detail and good with numbers
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in marketing or a related field
- Knowledge of the energy sector or smart energy solutions
- Certification in marketing or a related field
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools
