Job Description
About the Role
As a Marketing Student at SolarEdge, you will be an integral part of the EU marketing team, working closely with talented professionals to support the implementation of marketing activities and events. Your primary focus will be on sustaining SolarEdge's marketing strategy, with a vision of making the company the number one choice for smart energy solutions among prosumers. You will be reporting directly to the Director of Marcom Europe and indirectly to the Country Managers for Germany and Austria/Switzerland.The role entails a deep understanding of the markets and customers in the DACH region, including distributors, installers, and prosumers. You will learn about SolarEdge's products and services, using this knowledge to communicate effectively and accomplish set marketing activities efficiently. Your touch points will be mostly B2B, but with an increasing emphasis on B2B2C.
What You Will Do
- Support the implementation of marketing activities and events to sustain SolarEdge's marketing strategy
- Develop a good understanding of the markets and customers in the DACH region
- Learn about SolarEdge's products and services to communicate effectively
- Ensure that marketing activities tune in to the needs of prosumers in DACH
- Give a good impression as an Ambassador of the SolarEdge brand during customer-facing interactions
- Deliver relevant local digital content on the web and social media platforms on time
- Support local marketing managers in organizing and running local exhibitions, trade fairs, events, training courses, and road shows
- Manage the collaterals supply chain, mainly printed materials and giveaways
- Order marketing products for events or customer showrooms
- Review and translate materials from English into German
What We Are Looking For
- Native German language skills
- Fluency in English
- Experience handling MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong team player with clear communication skills
- Affinity to technological products desirable
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)
- Meticulous planning, prioritizing, and organization skills
- Highly reliable with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and retain cross-group collaborations
- Solid analytical skills with consistent attention to detail and good with numbers
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in marketing or a related field
- Knowledge of the renewable energy sector
- Certification in marketing or a related field
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms
