About the Role
The Math Writer position at The Good and the Beautiful is a unique opportunity to create upper-level math curriculum that makes a real difference in students' lives. As a key member of the math team, you will work closely with the Sr. Math Director to develop comprehensive lessons, scripts, and solutions that cater to diverse learning styles. Your day-to-day tasks will involve writing engaging math content, reviewing materials for accuracy and clarity, and collaborating with the team to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards.The math team is dedicated to producing high-quality educational resources that make math accessible and enjoyable for students of all ages. As a Math Writer, you will play a vital role in shaping the math curriculum and contributing to the company's mission of providing excellent educational materials.

What You Will Do
- Write math curriculum, including lessons, solutions, and scripts, as assigned by the Sr. Math Director
- Create math equations and graphing files using programs such as MathType and Graph Free
- Review content for appropriateness, accuracy, clarity, and other factors as assigned
- Lay out lessons and solutions in InDesign as needed
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all job functions
- Collaborate with the math team to develop comprehensive math curriculum
- Develop scripts and solutions that cater to diverse learning styles
- Review and revise materials based on feedback from the Sr. Math Director and the math team
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, math education, or a related field
- Experience teaching high school level math, including creation of lessons and lesson plans
- Strong knowledge of math concepts, including algebra, geometry, and calculus
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Adobe InDesign (preferred)

- Experience with math software such as MathType and Graph Free
- Knowledge of educational technology and digital resources
