Mechanical Supervisor with (Commissioning Exp preferred)

About the Role

What You Will Do

• Direct and supervise mechanical crews, contractors, and technicians on-site to ensure compliance with specifications and design intent.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and engineering plans to guide installation and maintenance activities.
• Conduct comprehensive on-site inspections of mechanical work, including systems testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Ensure all work meets local building codes, mechanical codes, fire codes, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with local authorities, building departments, and inspection agencies for permit approvals and regulatory inspections.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, inspection reports, and status updates for project management and clients.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure OSHA compliance on mechanical work areas.
• Identify and resolve mechanical system issues, design conflicts, and installation challenges in real-time.
• Coordinate and oversee mechanical subcontractors, ensuring work quality and schedule adherence.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, warranties, and as-built conditions.
• Participate in system startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Communicate with building owners, facility managers, and end users regarding mechanical systems operation.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Experience in managing field operations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
