About the Role

The Media Monitoring & Reporting Executive will play a critical role in AEA Relate's media monitoring team, responsible for tracking and analyzing media coverage of key clients and developing strategies to optimize their media presence. This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading PR and communication agency in Greece, with a strong focus on professional and personal development. Day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring media coverage, analyzing trends, and developing reports to present to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the media landscape in Greece and a keen eye for detail. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and writing skills in both Greek and English. The role will involve working closely with the media monitoring team to develop and implement effective media monitoring strategies. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve media coverage and developing strategies to achieve this. They will also be required to stay up-to-date with the latest media trends and developments, and to provide insight and analysis to clients.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor selected keyword lists through specialized tracking tools to identify media coverage of key clients
  • Analyze media coverage to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop reports to present to clients, highlighting key media coverage and trends
  • Develop strategies to optimize media presence and improve media coverage
  • Work closely with the media monitoring team to develop and implement effective media monitoring strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest media trends and developments
  • Provide insight and analysis to clients on media coverage and trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve media coverage and develop strategies to achieve this
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement effective PR strategies

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in media monitoring and reporting
  • University degree in PR, communication, marketing, or a similar field
  • Postgraduate studies will be considered a plus
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in both Greek and English
  • PC literate, proficient in MS Office
  • Proficient in media monitoring platforms such as Innews and Clip News
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with media monitoring tools and software
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and monitoring tools
  • Experience working in a PR or communication agency
  • Certification in PR or communication
