About the Role
The Medical Advisory Reviewer role at Dane Street is a unique opportunity for experienced radiologists to apply their expertise in a remote, independent contractor setting. What You Will Do
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical cases to provide objective, evidence-based medical opinions
- Prepare clear and concise clinical summaries that accurately reflect the patient's condition and treatment
- Respond to specific questions from clients related to radiology care, providing expert guidance and support
- Review and analyze medical records to identify key findings and potential areas of concern
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of clinical guidelines and best practices in radiology
- Collaborate with other medical reviewers and subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in medical opinions
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with advancements in radiology and medical review
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all review activities, including documentation of findings and recommendations
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the medical review process and contributing to the development of best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in telehealth and medical review
What We Are Looking For
- Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania license/certification and US board certification
- Minimum of 5+ years of clinical radiology experience
- Ability to attend all required orientation and training sessions
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex medical information and develop well-supported opinions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and other stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote setting
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software applications
Nice to Have
- Experience with telehealth or remote medical review
- Certification in a specialty area of radiology, such as neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives or peer review
- Strong knowledge of clinical guidelines and best practices in radiology
