About the Role
The Medical Director role at Consciousabraxas is a 1099 independent contractor position that offers the opportunity to work remotely and make a significant impact on the delivery of mental health services. What You Will Do
- Provide clinical oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services
- Support Medicaid compliance and ensure all regulatory requirements are met
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct regular reviews of patient care and outcomes
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in telehealth and mental health services
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient care
- Provide guidance and support to other staff members as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all patient interactions
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care and operational issues
What We Are Looking For
- Licensed MD or DO in the state of Florida
- Active enrollment with Florida Medicaid
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, such as family medicine or internal medicine
- Strong understanding of telehealth operations and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic health records and other healthcare software
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and upholding the values of Consciousabraxas
Nice to Have
- Experience in a leadership or management role
- Certification in a specialty such as psychiatry or addiction medicine
