What You Will Do
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Handle appointment payments and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a professional and personable approach with patients, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Type letters, clinical reports, and transcriptions with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Organize meetings and take minutes, ensuring effective communication and follow-up actions
- Answer patient queries by phone and email, providing exceptional customer service
- Support the wider team with administrative tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to help
- Utilize MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe to manage records, correspondence, and other administrative tasks
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
- Develop and implement effective administrative processes, improving efficiency and reducing errors
What We Are Looking For
- Professional and courteous demeanor, with a strong patient-focused approach
- Highly organized and detail-focused, with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Confident using IT systems, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe
- Discreet and able to maintain strict confidentiality, adhering to data protection policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Grade C or higher in Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications
- Experience with medical terminology, although not essential, is desirable
