Medical Transcriptionist Specialist

About the Role

Day-to-day activities will include transcribing audio and video files with precision, primarily in Dutch, but also developing guidelines and evaluation rubrics in both Dutch and English. The ability to work independently and manage time effectively is essential, as the role requires meeting deadlines without compromising on quality. The team collaborates within GMT or PST working hours, providing a structured environment for remote work.

What You Will Do

• Transcribe audio and video files with high precision, primarily in Dutch.
• Develop and refine evaluation rubrics and guidelines in both Dutch and English to ensure consistency and quality in transcriptions.
• Collaborate with the QA team to review and improve transcriptions, ensuring they meet the required standards.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to assess task and rubric quality.
• Work closely with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of transcription best practices and technology.
• Manage a high volume of transcriptions while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Contribute to the development of new guidelines and processes as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the team regarding project status, issues, and suggestions for improvement.

• Strong writing and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, concise language.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English, with excellent comprehension and writing skills in both languages.

• Experience with transcription software and technology.

• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
