About the Role
As a Mental Health Therapist at NOCD, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) through the company's telehealth platform. Your expertise in evidence-based therapies, such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), will be crucial in helping patients manage their conditions and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to develop and reinforce treatment decisions.NOCD is committed to removing barriers to OCD care and reducing the stigma associated with the condition. As a therapist on the NOCD team, you will be part of a mission-driven organization that prioritizes clinical excellence, therapist experience, and patient outcomes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing your caseload, maintaining complete and timely clinical documentation, and participating in clinical consultations and training to advance your knowledge and practice.

What You Will Do
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to patients with OCD via the NOCD video platform
- Conduct diagnoses, assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Manage your caseload and schedule, ensuring timely and effective care
- Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation using the NOCD EHR system
- Participate in NOCD clinical consultation, training, and advance your knowledge and practice of evidence-supported treatments for OCD
- Collaborate with our network of providers to help develop and reinforce treatment decisions
- Utilize Excel for data management and analysis to inform treatment decisions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research advancements in the field of OCD treatment
- Engage in ongoing consultation with other team members to discuss complex cases
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the NOCD platform and services
What We Are Looking For
- Full and unrestricted license in good standing to practice in Iowa (LP, LMHC, LMFT, LISW)
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 6 months of relevant experience with evidence-based therapies (e.g., ERP, CBT, ACT)
- Practical experience independently diagnosing and treating patients with OCD
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage your time independently
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Nice to Have
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Knowledge of telehealth platforms and remote healthcare delivery models
- Certification in ERP or other evidence-based therapies for OCD
- Experience with Excel or other data analysis tools
