Job Description

About the Role

As a Merchandising Representative for CELSIUS, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and customer engagement through effective merchandising and retail management. This role requires a unique blend of sales, marketing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be the face of the CELSIUS brand in your assigned territory, working closely with retailers and distributors to ensure that our products are properly displayed and promoted.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planning and executing merchandising initiatives, calling on target accounts, and communicating sales leads to the territory manager. You will also be responsible for ensuring that shelf space is properly managed and that our products are stocked and merchandised according to brand guidelines. This role requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in sales and merchandising, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working closely with a variety of stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and internal team members, so the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively is essential.

What You Will Do

  • Plan and carry out merchandising initiatives to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Call on target accounts to promote CELSIUS products and build relationships with retailers and distributors
  • Communicate sales leads and other incremental opportunities to the territory manager
  • Ensure that shelf space is properly managed and that CELSIUS products are stocked and merchandised according to brand guidelines
  • Rotate backstock to existing displays, racks, and cold space according to account guidelines
  • Place point of sale materials as approved by the account manager
  • Participate in new store openings and store reset support
  • Take pictures and include photos with reporting documents on a weekly basis
  • Conduct demos upon request
  • Develop and maintain an organized list of target/key accounts in the territory to help execute weekly and monthly planning
  • Communicate as needed with the territory sales manager, district manager, and regional manager
  • Make 15-20 account calls per day and track and complete all account calls within the CELSIUS sales app
  • Submit weekly work logs, including mileage and other records or documentation as assigned

What We Are Looking For

  • 0-2 years of experience working in retail or merchandising, with a focus on sales and customer engagement
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including a 40-hour workweek (Wednesday to Sunday)
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and positive attitude, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent driving record and insurance/license required, as well as a personal vehicle to use for work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on building relationships and communicating effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and representing the CELSIUS brand in a positive and professional manner

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in merchandising or a related field, with a focus on sales and customer engagement
  • Experience working with retailers and distributors, with a strong understanding of the sales and merchandising process
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop effective merchandising strategies
  • Experience with sales and merchandising software, including the CELSIUS sales app
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
