About the Role
The Merchandising Representative role at CELSIUS is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales, marketing, and creating engaging in-store experiences. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for promoting CELSIUS products across various distribution channels, including grocery, specialty, health club, and convenience stores. Your primary goal will be to drive sales, manage product displays, and ensure that shelf space is properly utilized.The ideal candidate will possess excellent sales and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be reporting to the Regional Manager and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and management.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about the energy drink industry. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and changes in the market, and to use this knowledge to inform your sales and marketing strategies.
What You Will Do
- Plan and execute merchandising initiatives to drive sales and promote CELSIUS products
- Call on target accounts to establish relationships and identify new sales opportunities
- Communicate sales leads and other incremental opportunities to the Celsius territory manager
- Expand product distribution as approved by store managers within the guidelines of the account type
- Ensure that account shelves, cold vault, and stand-alone coolers are stocked and merchandised according to designated brand flow
- Rotate backstock to existing displays, racks, cold space, and warm shelf according to account guidelines
- Place point-of-sale materials as approved by account managers
- Participate in new store openings and store reset support
- Take pictures and include photos with reporting documents weekly
- Conduct demos upon request
- Develop and maintain an organized list of target/key accounts in the territory to help execute weekly/monthly planning
- Communicate with territory sales managers, district managers, and regional managers as needed
- Make 15-20 account calls per day
- Track and complete all account calls within the Celsius sales app
- Submit weekly work logs, including mileage and other records or documentation as assigned
What We Are Looking For
- 0-2 years of experience working in retail or merchandising, with prior experience in merchandising a plus
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work flexible hours, including a 40-hour workweek (Wednesday to Sunday)
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
- Self-starter and team player
- Excellent driving record and insurance/license required
- Personal vehicle to use, with an allowance provided
- Committed to providing outstanding customer service
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively internally and with external contacts
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced industry
Nice to Have
- Experience working with energy drink or beverage companies
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
- Certification in sales or marketing
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
