Merchant Services Specialist, New Verticals

About the Role

The New Verticals team is divided into three sub-teams, each with a distinct focus. The Catalog Launch and Catalog Updates team is responsible for building and maintaining inventory catalogs for new grocery and retail partners. The Onboarding team focuses on ensuring that new merchants have a smooth onboarding experience, with the correct features and support. As a Merchant Services Specialist, you will work closely with these teams to develop and implement processes that drive success for DoorDash's new verticals.

What You Will Do

• Manage the onboarding process for new merchants, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including catalog launch and catalog updates, and onboarding experts
• Develop and implement processes to drive success for DoorDash's new verticals
• Work closely with merchants to provide white-glove service and build strong relationships
• Apply expertise in Excel and Google Sheets to analyze and optimize inventory data
• Develop and maintain inventory catalogs for new grocery and retail partners
• Ensure that merchants are onboarded with the correct features and support
• Interact with merchants to provide support and resolve issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to scope plans for new verticals
• Provide input and suggestions for process improvements

What We Are Looking For

• Strong understanding of Google Sheets and Excel, with experience working with large datasets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with merchants
• Self-motivated and self-sufficient, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
