About the Role
The Meta Strategist role at Directive is a client-facing position responsible for developing and executing custom paid media strategies for top B2B clients. As a key member of the Performance division, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional results. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing social media accounts, building and optimizing budgets for paid media campaigns, and analyzing campaign performance data to inform future strategies.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of paid social advertising, including Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads, as well as experience with Google Analytics and Excel. You will be responsible for communicating with clients and internal stakeholders, driving cross-sells and upsells, and identifying opportunities for growth. What You Will Do
- Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts for top B2B clients
- Develop and execute custom paid media strategies to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional results
- Build and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns, including Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads
- Analyze campaign performance data using Google Analytics and Excel to inform future strategies
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to drive cross-sells and upsells and identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and maintain deep understanding of client positioning and unique value propositions
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM and ensure seamless communication with vendors and operational partners
- Work directly with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are being achieved
- Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns and drive results via client relationships and professional network
- Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience working at a performance or digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
- Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads
- Understanding of different Ad Units within the LinkedIn or Meta Platforms, such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more
- Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools, including LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, and more
- Strong understanding of paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
- Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaign performance
- Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
- Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
Nice to Have
- Experience with Programmatic campaigns and understanding of the value they bring to clients
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead routing
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and Excel, including data analysis and reporting
- Experience with audience segmentation and targeting
