About the Role
As a mid-market account executive at Wiz, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in Japan by developing and executing strategic plans to expand the company's customer base. You will work closely with a team of professionals who are passionate about cloud security and AI-powered solutions. The role entails building strong relationships with customers, understanding their complex business problems, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.The mid-market account executive will report to the regional director and will be an integral part of the company's sales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security solutions, a strong network of contacts in the industry, and a proven track record of success in sales.

What You Will Do
- Lead with curiosity to understand customers' complex business problems and provide tailored solutions
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's customer base in Japan
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including CISO-level executives
- Position and advise customers on Wiz cloud security solutions and their value
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve quarterly sales quotas and consistently meet or exceed targets
- Align with the Wiz partner ecosystem to optimize market opportunities
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and provide expert-level forecasting
- Work closely with the solutions engineering, customer success, product, marketing, delivery, and executive teams to ensure strategy alignment
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in cloud security and AI-powered solutions
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales materials
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of closing experience in the cloud/security space, ideally in a majority hunting role
- Proven track record of selling in a competitive market and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in a hypergrowth/start-up organization and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build great internal partnerships with key business units and their stakeholders
- Consultative and professional approach to engaging with customers
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities in various stages and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong understanding of cloud security solutions and their value to customers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience working with AI-powered security solutions and Google's Threat Intelligence and Security Operations
- Knowledge of the Japanese market and industry trends
- Fluency in Japanese language
