About the Role

As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Iterable, you will be at the forefront of driving the full sales cycle from prospect to close across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for experienced sellers looking to expand their skills with a complex sales cycle, selling a solution that meets the needs of entire departments. You will be an integral part of the Mid-Market Sales team, working closely with a group of intellectually curious and customer-advocate professionals who thrive in an environment of mutual support and innovation.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and close net-new sales opportunities within target accounts, utilizing a consistent and repeatable sales process.
  • Build and leverage relationships with C-level Marketing and other executives to influence decision making around marketing solution investments.
  • Drive engaging conversations with commercial marketers at exciting companies to help them unlock their data, use it more efficiently at scale, and develop deeper customer relationships.
  • Manage sales activity, including prospecting, demos, and trials, to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales engineering team to develop and deliver customized product demos and presentations.
  • Work closely with the customer success team to ensure a smooth handoff of new customers and identify opportunities for upselling and expansion.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Iterable's product offerings and their applications in various industries.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to continuously improve sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the product and marketing teams to help inform product roadmap and marketing strategies.
  • Participate in sales strategy sessions to share best practices and contribute to the team's overall success.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a mid-market or enterprise sales role, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and techniques, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, with the ability to leverage these tools to manage sales activity and analyze sales performance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with executives and commercial marketers.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of Iterable's products to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different time zones and locations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the marketing technology or customer engagement platform space, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these areas.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, data management platforms, or customer data platforms.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales engineering, customer success, and marketing.
  • Certification in sales or a related field, such as a CPSA or CSS certification.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to support sales efforts in various regions.
