About the Role
The Mid Market Customer Activation Manager role at Ramp is a critical position that involves driving the adoption of Bill Pay and Procurement tools among mid-market customers. As a key member of the customer activation team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase customer engagement and adoption of Ramp's products. This role requires a deep understanding of the customer's current AP and procurement workflows, as well as the ability to tailor communications to meet the customer's specific needs.The customer activation team at Ramp is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires a high degree of collaboration and communication. As a Mid Market Customer Activation Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering, to drive customer adoption and identify areas for process improvement. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption of Bill Pay and Procurement tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to drive customer engagement
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and tailor communications to meet their specific needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer organizations
- Provide training and support to customers to ensure successful onboarding and adoption of Ramp's products
- Identify and troubleshoot issues that may impact customer adoption, and work with internal teams to resolve them
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Ramp's products and their applications in various customer environments
- Analyze customer data and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Work with the sales team to identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customer success, account management, implementations, technical consulting, or product operations in a B2B organization
- Experience with Bill Pay and/or Accounting implementation, including integrations, vendor onboarding, approval routing, purchase requests, invoice processing, and policy configuration
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and ERP/AP modules
- Experience collaborating with product and engineering partners to share feedback, troubleshoot issues, and design workarounds
- Strong desire to become a product expert and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of exceeding quota or outperforming key metrics in a customer-facing role
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and position product solutions effectively
- Comfort using AI tools to streamline workflows and increase efficiency
- High adaptability and comfort in a fast-moving environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI tools and their applications in customer success and account management
- Knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems and their integration with other financial tools
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
- Certification in accounting or a related field, such as CPA or CMA
