About the Role

EverAI is seeking a highly skilled Mid/Senior AI Cinematic Video Editor to join their team. As a video editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, narrative-driven content using AI-first pipelines. You will work closely with the Content Lead to conceptualize scripts, develop storylines, and produce visually compelling long-form videos. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production, VFX, or digital art, with a solid understanding of AI image/video generation pipelines.

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that is pushing the boundaries of AI technology. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and models, such as Kling, Seedance, and Happy Horse, to produce high-quality visual sequences. Your expertise in traditional video editing tools like Premiere Pro and After Effects will also be valuable in this position.

What You Will Do

  • Conceptualize scripts based on current production needs, centered around existing AI characters
  • Create narrative-driven, long-form video content, including stylized and explicit visuals, with a strong focus on storytelling, atmosphere, and visual coherence
  • Own and manage end-to-end AI video production workflows, from ideation and prompting to generation, editing, and post-production
  • Utilize tools such as Kling, Seedance, Happy Horse, and other AI video models/platforms to produce high-quality visual sequences
  • Develop and maintain consistent character appearance, style, and scene continuity across longer narratives using advanced techniques
  • Integrate motion graphic design and color correction to deliver cohesive final outputs
  • Experiment rapidly with new AI models, tools, and techniques, incorporating them into production workflows and sharing skills with the rest of the team
  • Align with the Content Lead's creative direction while maintaining a high degree of autonomy in execution and technical decision-making
  • Continuously refine workflows for efficiency, scalability, and output quality

What We Are Looking For

  • 4-6+ years of experience in video production, VFX, or digital art, with a strong portfolio (AI-driven video work is a must)
  • Hands-on experience with the latest AI video tools and models (e.g., Kling, Seedance, Happy Horse, and similar emerging options)
  • Solid understanding of AI image/video generation pipelines, including prompting, batching, consistency techniques, and post-processing
  • Experience with traditional tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar for final editing and post-production
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, atmosphere, and visual coherence in video production
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other AI video models and platforms, such as DeepMotion or Wibbitz
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript, for scripting and automation
  • Familiarity with cloud-based video editing platforms, such as Blackmagic Design or Avid Media Composer
  • Experience with color grading and color correction tools, such as DaVinci Resolve or Baselight
