This role involves owning the full-custom layout for high-performance analog and mixed signal IP in advanced FinFET nodes. As a Mixed Signal IC Layout Design Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that has developed a high-performance RISC-V CPU from scratch. Your contributions will be pivotal in integrating high-performance analog and mixed signal IP blocks into larger SoCs, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. ## What You Will Do - Translate schematics into manufacturable layouts for high-performance analog and mixed signal IP in advanced FinFET nodes.
- Meet aggressive performance, power, area, and reliability targets for all design projects.
- Integrate mixed signal IP blocks cleanly into larger SoCs, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, verification, and software engineering.
- Utilize Cadence Virtuoso (XL/GXL) or equivalent custom layout environments to design and optimize layouts.
- Apply deep understanding of CMOS devices, interconnect stacks, and advanced node rules to optimize design performance.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the improvement of the design process.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mixed signal IC layout design and FinFET technology.
- Work closely with the team to resolve design challenges and improve overall design quality.
- Contribute to the development of design methodologies and standards.
- Deep proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso (XL/GXL) or equivalent custom layout environments.
- Strong understanding of CMOS devices, interconnect stacks, and advanced node rules, including multipatterning, density/fill, and lithography-driven constraints.
- Experience with constraint-driven layout and PCells.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
- Knowledge of RISC-V CPU architecture and its applications.
