What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Design and implement content calendars, including sourcing images and writing copy that captures the essence of JerseySTEM's work.
  • Lead community management efforts by responding to comments, answering questions, and engaging with followers on social media platforms.
  • Conduct analytics reporting to track performance, identify trends, and provide insights for improving social media strategies.
  • Research and discover new content and engagement opportunities that are relevant to STEM education, volunteerism, and corporate social responsibility.
  • Identify and explore potential influencer and brand partnership opportunities that could benefit JerseySTEM.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing to continuously improve the organization's online presence.

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Impressive copywriting and visual skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Google tools, including Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Google Hangouts.
  • Advanced skills in graphic design applications such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Photoshop.
  • Diligent work ethic, with an eye for art and design, and a continuous desire to learn and excel.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and contribute to a team environment.
