About the Role

Mozilla is seeking a talented Mobile Engineer, Android to join their team in developing innovative, open-source applications that promote a healthy and inclusive internet. As a key member of the mobile engineering team, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Android solutions that align with Mozilla's mission. What You Will Do

  • Participate in designing, debugging, building, and shipping Android solutions that promote a healthy and inclusive internet
  • Collaborate with senior team members to ensure the highest quality standards are met
  • Contribute to maintaining and upholding quality standards by participating in code reviews, bug fixing, testing, and adopting coding practices
  • Engage with Mozilla's open-source community to gather feedback and improve Android solutions
  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin
  • Work independently on simpler tasks and collaboratively within a team on more complex projects
  • Deliver well-designed, reusable, and high-quality code with guidance from senior team members
  • Participate in the development of products and contribute to the growth of Mozilla's ecosystem of open-source Android components
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile engineering
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in building Android applications using Java and Kotlin
