About the Role

The Mobile Engineer, Android role at Mozilla is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that is shaping the future of the internet. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, debugging, building, and shipping Android solutions that promote a healthy and inclusive internet. This role matters because it contributes directly to Mozilla's mission of making the internet better for people, not companies. You will be working closely with a hardworking, diverse, and geographically distributed team to develop applications that give people a choice in their Android browser to experience the web in an open, safe, and healthy environment.

The team you will be joining is responsible for the Firefox mobile applications and our ecosystem of open-source Android components. Mozilla's work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security, and more, all while never losing focus on its core mission. As a Mobile Engineer, you will be part of a non-profit tech company that is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation, meaning the company is beholden only to its mission, not shareholders.
