## About the Role The MOT Tester position at Park's Motor Group is a key role within the Å koda Motherwell Service Centre, focusing on ensuring vehicles are in compliance with the latest MOT standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough examinations of vehicles to identify any faults or issues, utilizing the latest computer diagnostic equipment to fault-find, and carrying out repairs to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will work closely with other technicians and service advisors to ensure excellent customer service and efficient turnaround times. The role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is also essential. As part of the service centre team, the MOT Tester will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction, reflecting the values of Park's Motor Group and the Å koda brand. ## What You Will Do - Conduct MOT tests on vehicles, identifying any defects or issues that need to be addressed.

  • Utilize computer diagnostic equipment to fault-find and diagnose problems with vehicles.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of parts to ensure vehicles meet MOT standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs carried out.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure high-quality work and excellent customer service.
  • Stay updated with the latest technical developments and MOT testing standards.

## What We Are Looking For - A qualified and time-served MOT Tester with a full, clean UK driving license.
  • At least two years of experience in MOT testing, preferably with previous manufacturer or franchise experience.
  • Proficiency in using the latest computer diagnostic equipment for fault-finding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
