About the Role
The Creative Studio at Anthropic is a dynamic team responsible for crafting the brand's visual identity across various mediums. As a Motion Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving the brand's expression through movement and animation. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from product launches to marketing campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.The Motion Designer will report to the Head of Brand Design and work closely with designers, external creative partners, and other teams across the company. This is a chance to join a growing motion practice and contribute to the development of a brand that's making waves in the tech industry.
What You Will Do
- Create high-quality motion work that sets the standard for the brand's visual identity
- Develop and implement motion design strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and other creatives to produce innovative and engaging content
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors
- Stay up-to-date with the latest motion design trends, tools, and technologies
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of new ideas and concepts
- Work closely with the brand design team to ensure consistency across all visual elements
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the brand's values, mission, and target audience
- Create motion graphics, animations, and other visual elements that bring the brand to life
What We Are Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio that showcases your skills and creativity
- Proficiency in motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Blender
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of brand design principles and how to apply them to motion design
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools
Nice to Have
- Experience working with AI-powered design tools and technologies
- Knowledge of coding languages such as JavaScript, Python, or HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) design principles
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
- Certification in motion design or a related field
