About the Role

The Motion & Graphic Designer role at Directive is a unique opportunity to bring ideas to life across various channels, including LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. As a creative, curious, and ambitious designer, you will be responsible for crafting visuals that stop the scroll and drive results. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, experiment, and showcase their skills in a fast-paced environment where design directly impacts business outcomes. Directive is a revenue-first marketing consultancy built to serve B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, industrial, and commerce brands. The company's approach to visual systems is centered around performance channels, complex professional services positioning, and a buying audience that starts with a CMO and ends with a CFO. As a member of the Directive team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement creative assets that drive improvement of digital marketing KPIs.

What You Will Do

  • Craft compelling design assets such as ad sets and landing pages, backed by data to drive improvement of digital marketing KPIs
  • Produce motion graphics and basic short-form video cutdowns optimized for social media advertising
  • Edit existing video assets into high-performing ad units tailored to platform specifications, aspect ratios, and attention spans
  • Collaborate with the media and content teams to align motion creative with audience insights and campaign goals
  • Maintain brand consistency across all static, motion, and video assets while adapting creatively to different audience segments and platforms
  • Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments using CRO tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, and/or Crazyegg
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and heat mapping analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions
  • Continuously iterate and refine designs based on feedback, data insights, and testing outcomes
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while communicating effectively with project management and additional internal stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on performance-driven creative and CRO
  • 1 year of experience with motion graphics
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign
  • Basic video editing and motion graphics experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge and execution of performance marketing metrics like A/B Testing, CRO Analytics, Heatmapping
  • Experience designing for performance-driven campaigns

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Excel for data analysis and visualization
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies related to CRO and user experience design
  • Certification in design or a related field
