About the Role
The Motion & Graphic Designer role at Directive is a unique opportunity to join a leading B2B marketing agency and work on performance-driven advertising campaigns. As a creative and ambitious designer, you will be responsible for crafting compelling design assets, producing motion graphics, and editing video content to drive improvement of digital marketing KPIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including media and content teams, to align motion creative with audience insights and campaign goals.In this role, you will have the chance to work with exciting enterprise brands and contribute to the development of innovative advertising campaigns. Your design skills will directly impact business outcomes, and you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Directive's methodology, DiscoverabilityOS, guides the company's approach to marketing, and as a designer, you will be an integral part of this process.
What You Will Do
- Craft compelling design assets, such as ad sets and landing pages, to drive improvement of digital marketing KPIs
- Produce motion graphics and basic short-form video cutdowns optimized for social media advertising
- Edit existing video assets into high-performing ad units tailored to platform specifications, aspect ratios, and attention spans
- Collaborate with the media and content teams to align motion creative with audience insights and campaign goals
- Maintain brand consistency across all static, motion, and video assets while adapting creatively to different audience segments and platforms
- Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments using CRO tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, and/or Crazyegg
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heat mapping analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions
- Continuously iterate and refine designs based on feedback, data insights, and testing outcomes
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while communicating effectively with project management and additional internal stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to CRO and user experience design
What We Are Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on performance-driven creative and CRO
- 1 year of experience with motion graphics
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign
- Basic video editing and motion graphics experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong design portfolio showcasing your skills and experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in CRO and user experience design
Nice to Have
- Experience with CRO tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, and/or Crazyegg
- Familiarity with user research, usability testing, and heat mapping analysis
- Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or similar platforms
- Certification in graphic design, motion graphics, or a related field
