Job Description
## About the Role As an MS PowerApps Specialist at Talogy, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing business applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools. Your primary focus will be on creating functional, scalable low-code solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience. You will work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and transform them into effective app solutions. The role entails a deep understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing Power Platform solutions for performance and usability, ensuring adherence to governance, security, and compliance policies within the Power Platform environment. Your day-to-day tasks will include designing, building, and deploying custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, developing and automating workflows and integrations using Power Automate, and creating and managing data connections, including SharePoint, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, SQL, and other data sources. ## What You Will Do - Design, build, and deploy custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) - Develop and automate workflows and integrations using Power Automate - Create and manage data connections, including SharePoint, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, SQL, and other data sources - Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and transform them into effective app solutions - Maintain and optimize existing Power Platform solutions for performance and usability - Ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance policies within the Power Platform environment - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including app architecture, workflows, and configurations - Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training as needed - Translate business needs into functional, scalable low-code solutions - Work with Excel to integrate data and create reports - Participate in the development of Azure services, Dynamics 365, and Power Virtual Agents
## What We Are Looking For - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience) - 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI - Proficient with Dataverse, SharePoint, and Power Fx formulas - Experience integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 tools and third-party APIs - Strong understanding of data modeling, security roles, and app lifecycle management - Knowledge of Azure services, Dynamics 365, and Power Virtual Agents is a plus - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills - Proficiency in Excel for data integration and report creation
## Nice to Have - Microsoft Power Platform certification (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, or PL-400) - Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies - Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or JSON for app customization - Strong attention to detail and user experience design
