About the Role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Plastics and Regenerative Medicine at AbbVie plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive scientific support for Allergan Aesthetics initiatives. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and internal colleagues. What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with external experts and thought leaders in Plastics and Regenerative Medicine
  • Provide scientific support and expertise to internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and research teams

  • Collaborate on the development of educational materials, publications, and presentations that effectively communicate scientific information to various audiences
  • Participate in and contribute to scientific conferences, workshops, and other educational events
  • Engage in discussions with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and preferences, providing insights that can inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Contribute to global strategic planning by providing regional insights and recommendations
  • Develop and execute plans for scientific data dissemination and communication
  • Foster a culture of compliance, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth

What We Are Looking For

  • PhD in a field aligned with Plastics and Regenerative Medicine, or an MD degree from an accredited US or foreign medical school with postgraduate medical training
  • Industry experience, particularly in a role that involves scientific communication or medical affairs, is preferred but not required
  • A working understanding of legal and regulatory guidelines governing the pharmaceutical and medical device industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to interpret complex scientific data
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, as required
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, with a keen interest in leveraging technology to enhance scientific communication and collaboration
