## About the Role Toptal is seeking a Multilingual Audio Transcription Specialist to work on a short-term project transcribing dialogue from full-length films. The goal is to build high-quality datasets for AI and media applications. ## Responsibilities - Transcribe movie dialogue from audio files (FLAC or similar) - Capture all spoken content accurately, even in fast-paced or complex scenes - Follow clear formatting guidelines to produce clean, structured transcripts - Deliver work that is consistent and ready for downstream use ## Requirements - Fluency in one of the following languages: Catalan, Czech, Dutch, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Russian, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese - Strong listening skills (accents, overlapping dialogue, varied audio quality) - High attention to detail and accuracy - Comfortable working with long-form audio (full-length films) - Ability to follow structured guidelines ## Nice to Have - Transcription, captioning, or subtitling experience - Familiarity with formats like SRT or VTT - Experience with tools like oTranscribe, Express Scribe, or Subtitle Edit
