About the Role
As a Named Account Executive at Salesforce, you'll be responsible for driving sales and customer satisfaction within a portfolio of key accounts. Your day-to-day will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers, identifying new sales opportunities, and working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The Named Account Executive role is a critical part of Salesforce's Enterprise Business team, which focuses on working with strategic customers and organizations with 10,000+ employees. You'll have the opportunity to work with a range of customers across different industries, including Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Retail & Consumer Goods.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction within your portfolio of accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within your accounts
- Identify new sales opportunities and work with internal stakeholders to pursue these opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and share your expertise with colleagues and customers
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer business needs and objectives
- Coordinate internal resources to meet customer business needs
- Perform account planning and forecasting to ensure strategic alignment and revenue growth
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to customers
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets
What We Are Looking For
- 10 years of full-cycle sales experience, with at least 5 years in Enterprise Sales Management
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction in a sales role
- Strong understanding of the tech industry and Salesforce's products and services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to strategize and build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Strong business acumen and understanding of customer business needs and objectives
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Salesforce's Customer 360 platform
- Knowledge of the K-12 education industry and its unique challenges and opportunities
- Experience working with large, complex accounts and developing strategic account plans
- Certification in sales or a related field, such as Salesforce's Certified Sales Professional program
