About the Role

The National Account Director (NAD) for Strategic IDNs and Integrated Health Systems plays a pivotal role in Invivyd's mission to deliver protection from serious viral infectious diseases. This position is responsible for leading the company's institutional engagement, account management, and contracting execution across the country's largest national Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and academic medical centers. The NAD will serve as the primary customer-facing lead, driving strategic partnerships and ensuring disciplined financial management and portfolio optimization.

As part of the Invivyd team, the NAD will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the evolving healthcare landscape, assess market trends, and develop tailored account-specific strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of complex institutional environments, procurement processes, and medical policy coverage. The NAD will cultivate and leverage senior-level relationships with key institutional decision-makers to align Invivyd's therapeutic benefits with clinical protocols.

What You Will Do

  • Design, execute, and inform account-specific strategies and business plans to drive optimal access, formulary inclusion, and utilization growth for current and future products
  • Conduct rigorous payer and institutional market intelligence to deeply understand evolving healthcare delivery models, localized utilization controls, and complex health system economics
  • Track and analyze account-level economics, budgetary impacts, policy/practice changes, and competitive access dynamics to anticipate shifting commercial threats and opportunities
  • Prepare comprehensive access strategy business cases, data-driven insights, and structured commercial recommendations for review by various internal leadership groups
  • Cultivate and leverage an expansive network of senior-level relationships with key institutional decision-makers, including Chief Pharmacy Officers, clinical pharmacists, medical directors, and P&T Committee members
  • Build deep partnerships with hospital/cancer center administrators, service line leaders, and key opinion leaders to align institutional clinical protocols with Invivyd's therapeutic benefits
  • Establish high-trust networks with institutional billing, procurement, reimbursement, and patient assistance teams to ensure end-to-end operational alignment
  • Evaluate contracting options, lead complex institutional contract negotiations, and manage the complete contract lifecycle to optimize volume and revenue growth
  • Drive access pathways across complex buy-and-bill mechanics, medical and pharmacy benefit structures, Average Sales Price (ASP), Wholesale Acquisition

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, market access, or a related field, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of driving market access and growth through strategic partnerships and contract negotiations
  • Deep understanding of complex institutional environments, procurement processes, and medical policy coverage
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to cultivate and leverage senior-level relationships with key institutional decision-makers
  • Experience with data analysis, market intelligence, and business case development
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare delivery models, localized utilization controls, and complex health system economics
  • Familiarity with Excel and data analysis tools
