About the Role

The National Account Manager, Footwear position at ARC'TERYX is a critical role that entails managing and growing footwear revenue across key account partners. As a key member of the Wholesale, Key Accounts team, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver strong commercial results and bring the brand to life on the retail floor. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and executing seasonal sell-in strategies, supporting sell-through performance, and ensuring that the footwear assortment is positioned for success at retail.

The role requires a deep understanding of the footwear industry, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners. You will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that ARC'TERYX footwear is represented with excellence on the retail floor. As a key member of the team, you will also contribute to the growth and health of the Key Account footwear business in both the USA and Canada.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the day-to-day footwear business for assigned Key Account partners, ensuring strong relationships and consistent execution
  • Drive seasonal sell-in in alignment with footwear strategy, revenue targets, account 3YP strategies, and market distribution plans
  • Partner with the total Key Account sales force to ensure cohesive account strategies across categories
  • Support sell-through performance by partnering with Trade Marketing on in-store execution, product education, and retail storytelling
  • Work closely with the Footwear team and Revenue team to align forecasts, assortments, and growth opportunities
  • Monitor account performance and provide feedback on product, inventory health, and market trends
  • Support key milestones such as line reviews, sales meetings, product trainings, and seasonal business reviews
  • Act as a brand ambassador by ensuring our footwear is represented with excellence on the retail floor
  • Identify opportunities to improve dollars per door and assortment effectiveness
  • Contribute insights to future footwear strategies based on retailer and consumer feedback

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in footwear sales or account management, preferably within wholesale or Key Accounts in the outdoor or sports apparel industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Existing experience managing brands at top US retailers
  • Strong understanding of sell-in and sell-through mechanics and how to support retail partners for success
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once, working cross-functionally and aligning multiple stakeholders around shared goals
  • Adaptable, curious, and able to build relationships easily and communicate clearly at all levels of internal and external business
  • Passionate about footwear, the brand, and getting outside to live the brand's values
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with sales analytics and data analysis

  • Experience with trade marketing and product education
  • Knowledge of the outdoor industry and market trends
  • Certification in sales or marketing, such as CSP or CPM
  • Experience with CRM software and sales management tools
  • Fluency in multiple languages
