Job Description

About the Role

The National HR Director, Care Center Operations is a pivotal leadership role that aligns HR initiatives with the operational and strategic goals of healthcare clinics across multiple markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a strong identity and culture for this burgeoning vertical. As the primary point of contact for HR due diligence in practice acquisitions, this individual will oversee the execution of the HR function for all Privia-owned practices.

The role entails providing strategic guidance and support to HR leaders, overseeing the HR function to close best practice gaps, and creating efficiencies for scale. The National HR Director will also be responsible for managing the HR onboarding process for new practices and large-scale clinical acquisitions, as well as conducting ongoing evaluations of HR service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory adherence.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee HR leaders providing services to independent practices, including direct supervision and dotted line matrices
  • Lead the HR function to close best practice gaps, create efficiencies for scale, and harmonize policies and vendors
  • Manage HR-related audits for incoming entities
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation of HR service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory adherence
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Business Development HR Due Diligence for practice acquisitions
  • Oversee Office Managers in owned practices to execute day-to-day HR functions
  • Collaborate on compensation strategies to ensure they are competitive and equitable
  • Provide guidance on incentive programs and oversee benefits administration for employed clinical groups
  • Ensure clinical HR compliance across all locations where Privia employs clinical professionals
  • Coach clinic leaders on effective people management and lead teams through the Career Committee and performance review processes
  • Partner with Sales and Recruiting teams to expand HR service offerings to new and existing practices

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years in progressive HR leadership
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a multi-site healthcare environment with a deep understanding of clinic operations and clinical staffing models
  • Experience with HRIS, preferably Workday
  • Strong project management skills and Google Enterprise experience
  • Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP minimum
  • Ability to travel regularly to various clinic locations
