Job Description

About the Role

The National Partner Manager position at Pure Storage is a critical role that involves leading the growth of Managed Services Providers (MSPs) within a designated geographic region. As a subject matter expert and primary catalyst for MSP growth, this role operates in a matrixed environment, partnering closely with direct regional sales teams and Partner Account Managers to identify, cultivate, and close complex MSP deals. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding business with existing MSP partners, while also identifying and recruiting new target MSPs to join the Pure Storage program.

As a key member of the team, the National Partner Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for MSPs, driving growth and adoption of Pure Storage solutions. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive consensus across groups, both internally and within the Channel/Partner organizations.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand business with existing MSP partners, focusing on identifying and pursuing new service offerings and revenue streams.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Regional VPs to align sales strategies and ensure seamless execution of MSP growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Partner Account Managers to identify and recruit new target MSPs, leveraging market research, industry trends, and competitive analysis to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for MSPs, providing guidance on Pure Storage solutions, pricing models, and program requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive understanding and adoption of pricing models and processes, minimizing channel conflict and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with key MSP decision-makers, influencing their strategic direction and ensuring Pure Storage is top of mind for their storage needs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to create and launch new service offerings with MSPs, driving revenue growth and expanding Pure Storage's market presence.
  • Provide regular business updates, forecasts, and insights to senior management, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Drive regional enablement, serving as a subject matter expert for all MSP and program-related questions and queries from sales teams.

  • Experience supporting the sales/channels of enterprise storage, networking, or systems solutions for large enterprise accounts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive insights that inform business decisions.
