About the Role

The NationalLink Representative role is a critical position in the appraisal operations team, responsible for managing the appraisal valuation process from start to finish. This involves coordinating with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of appraisal reports. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a key member of the appraisal operations team, the NationalLink Representative will work closely with the Manager, Appraisal Client Operations, to ensure that all appraisal orders are processed efficiently and in accordance with company standards. This role requires a strong understanding of appraisal operations, vendor management, and quality control, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

The appraisal operations team plays a vital role in the company's success, and the NationalLink Representative will be expected to contribute to the team's goals and objectives. This includes meeting client SLA and quality standards, maintaining high levels of customer service, and identifying areas for process improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Review daily work in progress and utilize systems and procedures to manage vendors and ensure timely completion of appraisal orders
  • Update order status, including assignment, scheduling, and report expected delivery dates
  • Meet client SLA and quality standards, and maintain high levels of customer service to ensure client retention
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including team members, vendors, and other departments, to ensure seamless delivery of appraisal reports
  • Analyze requests from clients and vendors, and provide solutions to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Maintain open communication with team members, vendors, and clients, and escalate issues to management as needed
  • Attend regular department meetings and contribute to team discussions on operational issues and process improvements
  • Review, analyze, and communicate with clients on all requests, issues, or concerns raised through phone or email
  • Identify areas for process improvement and provide suggestions to management to assist with resolving daily operational issues
  • Maintain a positive, professional business relationship with clients, internal staff, and vendors

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Ability to type 45 wpm
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in appraisal operations or vendor management with an AMC, real estate, or mortgage banking organization
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional relationship with clients and internal staff
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team to ensure client satisfaction and meet Service Level Agreements
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology, including personal computers and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
