What You Will Do

  • Answer calls professionally and in accordance with the Interpreter's code of conduct
  • Participate in internal professional training to enhance interpreting skills and knowledge of industry-specific vocabulary
  • Communicate and report to the team leader on call outcomes and any challenges faced
  • Utilize digital skills for remote work, including steady wired internet connection and USB wired headset
  • Work on Windows 10 or MacOS, ensuring compatibility with the company's systems
  • Interpret calls with accuracy and speed, ensuring that all parties understand each other
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities
  • Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to achieve common goals

What We Are Looking For

  • Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language (Nepali)
  • 1+ years of interpreting experience (desirable but not required)
  • High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures
  • High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong digital skills, including proficiency in using digital tools and software
  • Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically
  • Certification in interpretation or a related field (optional but advantageous)
