About the Role

As a Neurodevelopmental Assessor for Children's ADHD and Autism, you will play a pivotal role in Paloma Health's mission to make assessments and care more accessible. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing children's needs, utilizing cutting-edge technology and AI tools to streamline the process. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including a Clinical Specialist, to ensure comprehensive assessments that adhere to NICE guidance.

The position requires a commitment of between 3 to 5 days per week, offering flexibility in a remote work setting. Reporting to the Neurodevelopmental Team Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through the Paloma Clinical Academy programme, regular clinical supervision, and protected time for training and reflection.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for children with ADHD and autism, utilizing AI and software tools to support the process.
  • Work closely with a Clinical Specialist to ensure multidisciplinary assessments in line with NICE guidance.
  • Utilize Paloma Health's in-house electronic patient record and AI documentation tool to streamline the assessment and reporting process.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to families based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with the Prescribing Team to facilitate access to ADHD medications when necessary.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and peer review to ensure best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of new services to support families and children diagnosed with autism or ADHD.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and guidelines in neurodevelopmental assessments.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the assessment and care pathway.

What We Are Looking For

  • A recognized qualification in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, psychiatry, pediatric nursing).
  • Experience in conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for children, particularly in ADHD and autism.
