Neurodevelopmental Assessor for Children’s ADHD and Autism (Dual Assessor)

About the Role

The position requires a commitment of between 3 to 5 days per week, offering flexibility in a remote work setting. Reporting to the Neurodevelopmental Team Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through the Paloma Clinical Academy programme, regular clinical supervision, and protected time for training and reflection.

What You Will Do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for children with ADHD and autism, utilizing AI and software tools to support the process.
• Work closely with a Clinical Specialist to ensure multidisciplinary assessments in line with NICE guidance.
• Utilize Paloma Health's in-house electronic patient record and AI documentation tool to streamline the assessment and reporting process.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to families based on assessment findings.
• Collaborate with the Prescribing Team to facilitate access to ADHD medications when necessary.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and peer review to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to the development of new services to support families and children diagnosed with autism or ADHD.
• Stay updated with the latest research and guidelines in neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the assessment and care pathway.

What We Are Looking For

• A recognized qualification in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, psychiatry, pediatric nursing).
• Experience in conducting neurodevelopmental assessments for children, particularly in ADHD and autism.
• Strong understanding of NICE guidelines and their application in clinical practice.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, utilizing digital tools for communication and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with families and children.
• Proficiency in using electronic patient records and AI documentation tools, or a willingness to learn.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to work flexibly, adapting to the needs of the service and the team.
• Experience with multidisciplinary team working and a commitment to collaborative practice.
