About the Role

What You Will Do

  • Conduct thorough research on M&A transactions and financial markets to stay updated on the latest developments.
  • Analyze press releases, annual reports, and corporate filings to extract relevant information.
  • Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct news stories at least twice a week.
  • Create concise news alerts in an Instagram Stories format at least twice a week.
  • Engage in the development and improvement of the News Division, contributing ideas and suggestions.
  • Stay engaged with relevant news sources throughout the week, including but not limited to WSJ, Reuters, and Seeking Alpha.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of financial markets and transactions.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve content distribution goals across various platforms.
  • Participate in networking opportunities within the organization to develop connections.
  • Contribute to the growth and improvement of the company's social media presence.

What We Are Looking For

  • Undergraduate student specializing in finance, management, economics, engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
  • Strong interest in finance, capital markets, banking, digital marketing, and social media.
  • Commercial and business awareness in the financial services industry.
  • Attention to detail and high levels of organization.
  • Core soft skills including teamwork, adaptability, resilience, and an international mindset.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and navigate through complex data.
  • Data-savvy, with a basic understanding of how to interpret and analyze data.
