## About the Role As a NodeJS Senior Software Engineer at Kiddie Kredit, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable software solutions using Javascript and React. You will be working on a B2B2C platform that has powerful strategic partners, including Equifax and YMCA Atlanta. Your day-to-day tasks will involve collaborating with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into working code, while also providing mentorship to other developers. The company is looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team, with a strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will be the bridge between product requirements and the business team, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals. Kiddie Kredit is a startup that has raised a pre-seed round and is looking to hire engineers for exciting and unique projects. As an early member of the engineering team, you will have input on decisions and a lot of potential impact. ## What You Will Do - Design and develop scalable software solutions using Javascript and React - Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into working code - Provide mentorship to other developers - Work on a B2B2C platform with powerful strategic partners - Develop business-level integrations to the consumer app - Use infrastructure as code to manage and deploy applications - Collaborate with the CTO to design and implement system architecture - Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code - Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies ## What We Are Looking For - At least 3 years of experience as a paid software engineer working at a company where the primary product is software - Deep knowledge of Javascript and understanding of http and server technologies - Knowledge of ReactJS and experience with React Native - Computer Science background or equivalent experience - Excellent written English and basic conversational English - Experience working with MongoDB Atlas, Node, and AWS - Knowledge of identity management with Auth0 - Experience with Typescript and infrastructure as code ## Nice to Have - Experience working with Excel - Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or Java - Experience working with Agile development methodologies - Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS or Google Cloud ## Benefits and Perks - Competitive hourly rate ($40-$70 per hour) - Opportunity to work on exciting and unique projects - Collaborative and dynamic work environment - Flexible working hours and remote work options - Professional development opportunities - Access to the latest technologies and tools - Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance
