About the Role
The Nonprofit Evaluator - Program Specialist role at mercor is a contract position that offers a unique opportunity to combine philanthropic expertise with cutting-edge technology. What You Will Do
- Evaluate AI-generated artifacts against domain-specific quality rubrics
- Identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors in outputs
- Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve AI-generated work products
- Collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy and rigor in AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and enhance domain quality
- Develop and maintain expertise in nonprofit programs and digital skills
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI research and its applications
- Contribute to the development of best practices for evaluating AI-generated content
- Participate in team meetings and discussions to share knowledge and expertise
- Collaborate with other evaluators to ensure consistency and quality in evaluation processes
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Nonprofit / philanthropy / community programs
- Native or professional fluency in English
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially Slides
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and asynchronously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with AI-generated content and evaluation processes
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree (Master's or higher) from a reputable institution
- Experience with AI research labs and nonprofit organizations
