What You Will Do

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual consultations with patients to assess their symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors relevant to perimenopause and menopause care.
  • Evaluate patient eligibility for HRT, considering factors such as medical history, current symptoms, and laboratory results.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing hormone replacement therapies (estrogen, progesterone, combination therapies) tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Order and review diagnostic tests, such as bloodwork, as necessary to monitor treatment efficacy and potential side effects.
  • Provide patient education on HRT options, lifestyle modifications, and long-term health considerations to empower patients to take an active role in their health management.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in CloudCure's electronic medical records system, ensuring thorough and ongoing care.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to discuss patient cases, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of CloudCure's services.
  • Stay updated on the latest clinical guidelines, research, and technologies related to perimenopause, menopause, and HRT to ensure evidence-based practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of educational materials and resources for patients and healthcare professionals.

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Nurse Practitioner with an active license in one or more of the following provinces: Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, or Quebec.
  • Clinical experience in perimenopause and/or menopause care, with a strong focus on hormone replacement therapy.
  • Comfort and proficiency in working within a remote or telehealth environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment, while also being an effective team player.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient response and new information.
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care, with a focus on empathy, understanding, and education.

Nice to Have

  • License in multiple Canadian provinces, indicating a broad scope of practice and flexibility.
  • NAMS (North American Menopause Society) certification or equivalent training, demonstrating specialized knowledge in menopause care.
  • Prior experience working in a telehealth or digital health setting, with familiarity with virtual consultation platforms and digital health technologies.
